We are hosting our second annual AwanaGames event in the Crestview area for Trek, Journey, AND LITs.  This will be a fun-filled event with minimal preparation required on your part (basically just register your kids and get them here!).

Date:  April 10, 2010

Time:  8 AM Sign-in; 9 AM Activities Begin

Place:  Crestview High School, Crestview, FL 

Location of 24/7 Jam

Cost:  $15 per student (includes lunch).  $5 per adult (to cover lunch).  One adult is FREE with every 5 students registered.   Registration deadline will be April 1st. Click for Registration Form

 

What to expect?  All Awana teens (Journey, Trek, or LITs) that have at least completed the equivalence of a entrance booklet for Trek or Journey are eligible. YOUR CHURCH DOES NOT HAVE TO HAVE AN OFFICIAL TREK OR JOURNEY PROGRAM to participate.  Everyone will be entered as individuals.  You can register 1 or 100, we only ask that you bring at least 1 adult with every 5 students.

 

MORNING.  We will divide the teens up based on grade and gender and form 3 (or 6) co-ed teams (Red-Blue-Green).  We will have morning sessions including Journey game rules overview, Bible Study led by Jason Stokes (Youth Pastor from New Beginnings Church), team activities, and team practice and orientation led by our coaches. 

 

AFTERNOON.  Catered lunch will be provided at noon and then opening ceremonies and games competition at 1 PM.  We should be through by 3:30 PM.

 

Please make every effort to spread the word to your kids.  Our goal is to help encourage them in their walk and let them meet other Awana youth in our area.  IT WILL BE FUN!!!
